I am a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, practicing since 2018. My training across both disciplines gives me a perspective that's somewhat rare in psychiatric care — the ability to see your mental health within the full context of your physical health, not separate from it.
I take a science-based approach to care while recognizing the art of tailoring treatment plans to each individual. No two people experience mental health the same way, and no two treatment plans should be identical.
I believe in the medical model. I believe medications work. That doesn't mean they're right for everyone — and where possible, the goal should be for you to live your life without long-term dependence on them. Medication is a tool, not a destination.
Psychiatry without therapy is rarely enough. I advocate for a collaborative care model — working alongside therapists, primary care providers, and other members of your care team to achieve the best possible outcomes. If you don't have a therapist, I'll help you find one.
Sleep, movement, nutrition, relationships, meaning — these aren't soft add-ons to a treatment plan. They're foundational. Every conversation we have will take these into account.
"Mental health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain." — Matt HaigSchedule an Appointment →
Treatment grounded in research and clinical science — not trends, not guesswork. You deserve care that works.
Your care team should work together. I actively coordinate with therapists, PCPs, and specialists to close the gaps.
Mind and body aren't separate. Your physical health, lifestyle, and environment all shape your mental wellbeing.
We're working toward something — not just managing symptoms indefinitely. What does thriving look like for you?
I'll tell you what I think and why. You'll always know what we're doing, what the evidence says, and what the alternatives are.
Flexible visit lengths, telehealth availability, and straightforward scheduling — because your time matters.
We take the time to understand your full history — psychiatric, medical, and personal. Good care starts with really listening.
No template treatment plans. We build something together that fits your life, your goals, and your values.
Follow-up visits are structured around what you actually need — whether that's a quick check-in or a longer conversation.
The goal isn't to keep you in care indefinitely. We're always asking: what would it look like for you to need us less?
